Android and iPhone users can now share files seamlessly — starting with the Pixel 10 family.
Google announced on their blog The Keyword that they are introducing a new way for Quick Share to work with Apple’s AirDrop, making cross-platform file transfers smoother than ever.
This update begins rolling out today to the Pixel 10 lineup, giving users a simpler and faster method to send photos, videos, and documents between Android and iOS devices. For years, people have wanted an easier, universal way to share files across ecosystems, and this feature finally brings that to reality.
Google also confirmed that they are working on improving the experience and expanding support to more Android devices over time.
This update builds a strong new bridge for cross-OS compatibility, helping reduce the gap between the Android and iOS ecosystems.
