ARC Raiders has rolled out Update 1.11.0 across all platforms, bringing a mix of fresh cosmetics, important balance adjustments, and bug fixesâalongside the celebration of a major community milestone.
The highlight of the update is the arrival of the Abyss cosmetic set, giving players a striking new look as they head back into the Rust Belt. Alongside the cosmetic additions, players are encouraged to restart their client to download the latest update.
The developers are also celebrating a huge achievement: 12 million ARC Raiders copies sold worldwide. While a reward was originally planned for reaching 10 million players, the community surged past that number during the holiday season. As a thank-you, all players who logged in between launch and January 13 (11:59 PM CET / 2:59 PM PST / 5:59 PM EST) can claim the exclusive Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool.
Balance Changes
Several gameplay tweaks have been introduced to improve fairness and combat balance:
- Kettle
- The fire rate has been reduced from 600 to 450.
- According to the developers, the previous fire rate was only realistically achievable using macros, creating an unfair advantage tied to third-party software.
- Trigger âNade
- The Trigger âNade has been dominating PvP encounters, often being chosen over all other grenade options.
- Damage falloff has been rebalanced to focus damage closer to the explosionâs center while reducing damage at longer ranges.
- The detonation delay after triggering has been increased from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, giving players more time to react and making mid-air detonations harder to execute.
- These changes aim to preserve its role as a sticky bomb while reducing its dominance in PvP.
Bug Fixes and Environment Changes
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to retain room keys after using them.
- Lighting has been reduced in certain areas during the Stella Montis Night Raid, making flashlights and sound awareness more important during gameplay.
With Update 1.11.0 now live, ARC Raiders continues to refine its gameplay experience while rewarding its rapidly growing player base. The developers have thanked the community for their overwhelming support and look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.
