Fortnite Announces “Zero Hour” — The Chapter 6 Finale Event Arrives November 29, 2026
Fortnite has finally announced the name of its next major live event — Zero Hour, the official Chapter 6 finale. The event is set to take place on November 29, 2026, marking the end of the Simpsons mini-season and the beginning of an entirely new era: Chapter 7.
Epic Games posted a teaser video confirming that “Zero Hour” will be one of Fortnite’s most ambitious live events ever. The teaser hints at the arrival of Godzilla, Kong, Giant Homer, The Bride, and several other larger-than-life characters — setting the stage for what might become Fortnite’s biggest event to date.
Event Date, Start Time & Global Schedule
The Zero Hour live event will begin at:
- 2 PM ET
- 11 AM PT
- 12:30 AM IST on November 30 (India)
Players are strongly encouraged to join the queue at least 40 minutes early to avoid missing out due to server congestion.
Just like previous finales, Fortnite will introduce a dedicated Zero Hour event game mode. Players can queue solo or with their squad, ensuring everyone gets a seat for the massive cinematic experience.
Post-Event Downtime
After the event concludes, Fortnite will most likely enter a server downtime period that could last up to 5 hours. During this time, Chapter 7 will begin loading in, and Fortnite’s official X (Twitter) page will provide updates throughout the downtime.
