The Indian EA FC community just witnessed a historic farewell. Siddh “Jenasid” Chandarana, one of India’s most iconic and consistent EA Sports FC pros, has won the BEPF (Bharat Esports Professional Federation) National Tournament representing Maharashtra, before officially announcing his retirement from competitive EA FC after 10 glorious years.
BEPF National Championship - A Storybook Ending
The BEPF National Championship was a state-wise esports event featuring India’s best EA FC players, competing for a ₹4 lakh prize pool and the title of national champion. And for Jenasid, it was more than a tournament — it was the perfect send-off.
Representing Maharashtra, Siddh produced one of the most memorable runs in Indian EA FC history:
- Upper Bracket Round 1: Beat Fadl 7–5 in a goal-fest.
- Round 2: Trailing 0–1 until the 70th minute, came back to beat GodLike Charanjot 2–1 — a legendary scalp.
- Round 3: Defeated Emaad Jameel Ahmed, the eISL Champion, 4–3 in a thriller widely regarded as one of the games of the tournament.
- Upper Bracket Semifinal: Dispatched Ehtesham (Rajasthan) 2–0 with composed, controlled gameplay.
- Upper Bracket Final: Narrowly lost 0–1 to Vanshaj in a tight tactical encounter.
- Lower Bracket Final: Produced a historic 3–0 clean-sheet win over GodLike Charanjot — something Indian fans haven’t seen in nearly five years.
- Grand Final vs Vanshaj: Came back with a 2–1 win to reset the bracket, then sealed the championship with another 2–1 victory to lift the trophy.
A Legendary Comeback Against Charanjot
In the lower bracket final, Siddh met GodLike Charanjot once again and this time, he produced a historic 3-0 victory, securing a clean sheet against Charanjot, something rarely seen in Indian EA FC history over the last 4–5 years.
The Grand Final: Redemption and Glory
Siddh’s momentum carried into the grand finals, where he faced Vanshaj once again. He won the first match 2-1 to reset the bracket and then repeated the feat with another 2-1 win in the decider to claim the National B.E.P.F EA FC 26 Championship.
The total prize pool for the tournament was ₹4,00,000, distributed as follows:
- 🥇 Winner (Siddh Chandarana): ₹1,00,000
- 🥈 Runner-Up (Vanshaj): ₹75,000
- 🥉 3rd Place (GodLike Charanjot): ₹50,000
- 4th (Vignesh): ₹15,000
- 5th to 8th (Aditya Chadda, Ehtesham, Emaad, Navinh): ₹5,000 each
