PlayStation has reportedly shut down Bluepoint Games, the developer responsible for some of the most critically praised remakes of the modern era.

The studio was best known for its work on Demon’s Souls for PlayStation 5 and the stunning remake of Shadow of the Colossus on PlayStation 4.

Sony originally acquired Bluepoint Games in 2021, making the reported closure particularly surprising — coming in under five years after the acquisition.
